Livingstone Madrid’s Business Services team has advised the shareholders of Faru SL, a Spanish protective equipment distributor, on the sale of the business to a subsidiary of Bunzl plc, a FTSE 100 listed company.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Zaragoza (Spain), Faru is a B2B distributor of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Collective Protection Equipment including workplace signalling, safety and order, serving small and medium distributors of hardware and industrial supplies.

Bunzl specialises in outsourcing solutions and value added distribution.

Livingstone has previously sold Iberlin Catalanet – a distributor of cleaning products, and Marca – a distributor of protective clothing to Bunzl.
