Duni acquires Biopac

Worcestershire-based disposable food and beverage packaging firm Biopac has been recently bought by Swedish business Duni, for an undisclosed fee.

Established in 2002, Biopac specialises in food packaging and service products created with biodegradable, sustainable materials.

Duni, which supplies packaging and take-away single-use solutions for the food industry, acquired 75% shares in Kindtoo, trading as Biopac UK, from entrepreneurs Mark Brigden and Eric Graham.

Barry Sheehan, Director at Livingstone, speaks to Packaging News about what the packaging deal between Duni and Biopac means for the packaging M&A sector.
