Power Solutions International acquires PPPI

Livingstone’s Industrial sector team is pleased to announce the sale of Professional Power Products, Inc., to Power Solutions International Inc. PSI has acquired PPPI for an initial cash purchase price of $46m plus between $5m and $15m in PSI common stock based upon PPPI’s 2014 results.

Headquartered in Darien, Wisconsin, PPPI designs, engineers, and manufactures electrical power generation equipment for the global diesel and natural gas generator market.

The Company’s product portfolio includes integrated power generator set systems, switchgear, control panels, load banks, mobile power trailers and UL tanks. PSI is a leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of emissions-certified, alternative-fuel power systems. PSI provides integrated turnkey solutions to leading global original equipment manufacturers in the industrial and on-road markets.
