Livingstone announces key US promotions
Livingstone is pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Hopkins to Managing Director in its Chicago office.
Having joined Livingstone in 2016 as an Associate Director, Hopkins quickly became an integral asset to the firm. He holds extensive experience advising domestic and international middle-market companies on M&A transactions, debt and equity raises, and financial restructurings.
As a core member of the bank’s industrial practice, Hopkins has advised on a wide range of transactions, including the sale of Computerized Image Reference Systems to Mirion Technologies (NYSE: MIR), the sale of Beranek to J&E Precision Tool, and the federal receivership sale of Chromatin to S&W Seed Company.
“In the seven years I have known him, Patrick has consistently shown himself to be a thoughtful, strategic leader heavily focused on advocating for the firm’s clients. I have every confidence he will play a key role in the firm’s future growth,” commented Steve Miles, Managing Partner, Livingstone.
The firm also extends a congratulatory hand in recognition of the promotions of several outstanding bankers: David Modiano and Marisa Ramirez to Director, Joe Ens, and Jack Tighe to Associate.
Modiano joined Livingstone in 2021 and quickly established himself as a versatile professional capable of building relationships and trust with his colleagues and clients. He brought more than a decade of M&A experience with him from City Capital Advisors, where he completed over 25 mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and private placement transactions totaling more than $1B in transaction value.
Ramirez joined Livingstone in 2019 and played a vital role in several successful debt and M&A transactions, including the successful refinancing of Foss Floors, raising LBO financing for Angeles Equity Partners to support the platform acquisition of Xanitos, and the sale of Shor-Line to Midmark Corporation. Marisa will develop and support the firm’s relationships with leading financial sponsors in her new role as Director of Sponsor Coverage.
Joe Ens joined Livingstone in 2020, and Jack Tighe followed in 2021. Both young bankers have distinguished themselves as rising stars at the firm. “In keeping with Livingstone’s long tradition of promotion from within, recognizing and rewarding excellence, and basing career advancement solely on merit, we are proud to announce David, Marisa, Joe, and Jack’s promotions. It is immensely gratifying to watch these young professionals attain these milestones,” stated Ryan Buckley, Partner, Livingstone.
Livingstone’s ongoing, focused expansion of its investment banking leadership and expertise across key industries and sectors are among the reasons for the firm’s record-setting results over the past two years. The firm has committed to building the resources necessary to develop and nurture top-tier talent, including opportunities for secondment placements in Livingstone offices around the globe.
In 2022, the firm has ranked on MergerMarket league tables in Spain, Germany, and Sweden. Livingstone continues to expand its presence and commitment to the European market, launching an office in Hamburg, Germany, in early January and a Dutch office in Amsterdam in March.
