The Livingstone Foundation announces 2021 Pub Quiz virtual fundraiser
The Livingstone Foundation, headed up by Neil Collen, Partner in the Livingstone Madrid office, is throwing a virtual fundraiser Sunday, November 7th at 5:00 pm ET to benefit its continued projects in the Zambian region.
The foundation’s work is in rural Zambia and has been life-changing for area residents since its inception. Perhaps more importantly, it has become a lifeline post-pandemic, providing food to the community while the region rebuilds post-Covid.
Pre-pandemic, the foundation worked with area partners, including local NGO Project Luangwa, to help build and run schools and vocational centers, sponsor students’ education, help drill wells and support wildlife education and conservation programs. The foundation continues to do this important work while providing sustenance to the community, but like many global nonprofits, has been stretched thin by the global pandemic.
The November 7th virtual Pub Quiz will help ensure the foundation can continue its work while supporting the community’s food needs.
