Patrick Hopkins is a Managing Director and helps the firm’s Industrials group execute M&A transactions, with a particular emphasis on building products. Since joining in 2016, Patrick has advised entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and private equity firms on sell-side M&A transactions.
As a senior member of the firm’s Industrials team, he has a proven track record of successfully leading complex transactions and delivering exceptional client outcomes. Patrick, who has completed over 20 Industrial transactions, has extensive experience across multiple sub-sectors such building products, industrial distribution, transportation, and logistics, aerospace, and defense, and MedTech. Patrick has built a reputation as a trusted client advisor throughout his career.
Patrick, a Certified Public Accountant, previously worked as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s audit practice before beginning his investment banking career at Robert W. Baird & Co. While at Baird, he focused on M&A transactions in the firm’s Global Industrial Group.
Patrick lives on the north side of Chicago with his wife and two daughters. He is originally from Akron, OH.
