Second Acquisition in Germany: Andra Tech Group Acquires Metal Precision Components Specialist Innotec Zerspanungstechnik in Sinsheim
Andra Tech Group has acquired 100% of the shares of Innotec Zerspanungstechnik GmbH, located in Sinsheim, Germany. Jörg and Björn Leichenich will continue in their role as managing directors at Innotec. Livingstone advised Andra Tech Group on this second add-on acquisition in Germany.
Innotec is specialized in the production of precision mechanical parts made from various metals and plastics. The 75 employees serve customers in medical, optics, high tech systems and semicon industries. Innotec brings valuable technical competencies and additional business opportunities to the group and expands Andra Tech Group’s reach into new customer segments and markets.
With the acquisition of Innotec, Andra Tech Group extends its footprint in the German market. The group now consists of 10 companies in the Netherlands and Germany (next to Innotec: DKH, HFI, Jatec, Lemmens, Lucassen, Kusters, Mayer, Visietech and Wilting) with a total of 11 production sites. The group specializes in producing high-quality precision mechanical parts and modules. The over 800 technical professionals employed by Andra Tech Group serve customers in various industries, including semicon, packaging, food, mobility, medical and aerospace. The group is known for its knowledge and expertise in processing (exotic) metals and plastics. The latest technologies are used – such as 3D printing – and a number of companies have state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities. Andra Tech Group manufactures parts in prototypes, small to medium-sized batches, and large series.
In September 2024, funds managed by investment company Castik Capital acquired a majority stake in Andra Tech Group. With the support of Castik, Andra Tech Group’s management continues its strategy to further grow and scale its business activities. Innotec and Andra Tech Group will work closely together to achieve further growth.
Both parties have agreed that the substantive details of the acquisition will remain confidential.
Eric Urff, CFO of Andra Tech Group, said: “We look forward to working together with the Innotec team and expanding our footprint in Germany. We value the technological capabilities and customer focus of Innotec and are confident that our cooperation will not only be beneficial for Innotec customers and employees but also for the overall group.”
