Trellegräv has been acquired by Storskogen
Livingstone’s Business Services sector team has advised the owners of Trellegräv on its sale to Storskogen.
Storskogen has acquired a majority of the shares in Trellegräv AB. The company’s founders, Jonas and Stefan Jönsson, will remain as minority owners and continue to take part in managing the business. Trellegräv’s operations will become part of the contracting & infrastructure segment within the business services business area at Storskogen, where it will have ample opportunity for continued growth and development.
“Livingstone has been wonderful throughout this process and been highly professional. We felt immediate confidence in their ability and were always convinced that they understood what mattered most to us as sellers,” says Jonas Jönsson, owner of Trellegräv.
Trellegräv is a well known service supplier in heavy demolition in mainly southern Sweden. In addition to demolition, the company also takes on projects in sheet piling. The clients comprise large companies in construction and infrastructure. Trellegräv has some 50 employees and annual turnover for 2018 amounted to SEK 180 million.
“Trellegräv is a well managed company with a long history in demolition and a solid market position in its niche. We look forward to developing the business with management,” says Niclas Rundlöf, Head of the Contracting & Infrastructure segment at Storskogen.
Storskogen is a Swedish privately owned company group that acquires and develops small and medium-sized companies, primarily in Sweden. Storskogen has a diversified portfolio of 44 independent companies with a combined turnover of just over SEK 6.7 billion.
The Öresund region is one of the most expansive areas in the Nordics and the demand for building and demolition services is estimated to continue to be high. Trellegräv, which is an established and well reputed local actor, has exceptional conditions to thrive within several services areas.
“Our team is highly skilled in this part of the business services sector and is very experienced in companies in this kind of capital intensive business. We truly believe that Trellegräv and Storskogen is a perfect match, and we are happy to have met the owners’ wishes for the transaction,” says Tomas Lind, Senior Advisor at Livingstone.
