Livingstone is committed to supporting initiatives that give back to our communities. We believe access to basic life necessities and educational opportunities are the key to self-sustainability to create a meaningful future and should be available to everyone. Through the Livingstone Foundation, we collaborate closely with local organizations in Zambia<\/em> to support a range of impactful initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with Project Luangwa, we have not only constructed but also continue to maintain a vital rural primary school serving almost 500 children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

In addition to providing infrastructure, we finance teachers and innovative teaching programs that enrich the educational experience for these students. Moreover, we are committed to sponsoring exceptionally gifted children from impoverished backgrounds, ensuring they have the support needed to progress through the school system and realize their full potential.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Student Sponsorship<\/h4>\n

We provide opportunities and hope for the future through our sponsorship program for high school, vocational, and university students.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Preschool and Primary Education<\/h4>\n

Since the reconstruction of the Kapita school in 2014, we have maintained several schools, supplied them with furniture and school supplies, and financed teachers\u2019 salaries. Additionally, several classrooms have been built in different schools in the area.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Digital Learning<\/h4>\n

Our foundation was an early adopter of the Edulution math and English program, enabling us to introduce digital learning into mainstream education. We plan to take the program to its next phase soon by introducing tablets in all classrooms and enabling students to learn all subjects using Mwabu\u2019s innovative educational system.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vocational Training at Chikowa<\/h4>\n

We support the Chikowa Vocational Training Center, which offers courses in automotive, agriculture, masonry, carpentry, cooking, and sewing. We also send funds for reforestation in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Clean Water<\/h4>\n

The foundation works with Makolekole, tribal chiefs, and residents to ensure each village can access clean water on their own land without the need to walk several kilometers in search of water, avoiding the associated dangers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ufulu Pads<\/h4>\n

For many girls in this area of Zambia, menstruation means missing school for a week each month, causing them to fall behind their peers. They eventually drop out and marry prematurely. With this program, each girl receives a pack of washable sanitary pads, promoting equal educational opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
