Livingstone acted as financial advisor to Piemme Holding, minority shareholder of <\/strong>Agras Pet Foods<\/strong><\/a> (”Agras”) and investment vehicle of its CEO \u2013 a leading distributor of natural foods for dogs and cats \u2013 in connection with the company\u2019s sale to <\/strong>Whitebridge Pet Brands LCC<\/strong><\/a> (”Whitebridge Pet Brands”), a U.S.-based pet nutrition company backed by investment firm <\/strong>NXMH<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>

Founded in 1986 in Genoa, Italy, Agras Pet Foods<\/strong> is a leading European distributor of natural, high-quality food for dogs and cats. The company has built a strong market presence particularly in the wet complements<\/em> and toppers<\/em> segments. In 2020, Agras expanded its capabilities by acquiring Cerere Produzione<\/strong>, a Neive-based manufacturer specializing in private label dry pet food. Agras operates through a portfolio of well-recognized brands including Schesir, Stuzzy, and ADOC, and generates revenues exceeding \u20ac 100 million.<\/p>

Whitebridge Pet Brands, headquartered in the United States, produces a wide range of natural food, complements, toppers, and treats for pets. Its brand portfolio includes Tiki Pets, Dogswell, Grizzly, Cloud Star, Buddy Biscuits, Pet Botanics, Crazy Dog, and Petite Cuisine.<\/p>

This strategic combination is fully aligned with Whitebridge\u2019s mission to become a global leader in natural pet health nutrition. The transaction is expected to accelerate growth for both companies by expanding innovation capabilities and global reach.<\/p>
