Livingstone is pleased to announce the sale of <\/strong>Holzindustrie F\u00fcrst zu F\u00fcrstenberg<\/strong><\/a> (business unit wooden packaging) to the Industrial European Wood Products Holding GmbH, a portfolio company of <\/strong>The Flacks Group<\/strong><\/a>. Livingstone acted as exclusive financial advisor to The Flacks Group. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.<\/strong><\/p>

Holzindustrie F\u00fcrst zu F\u00fcrstenberg has been operating at its principal location in Huefingen in Southern Germany for some 100 years and evolved from its origins as a saw mill to an important manufacturer of wooden packaging.  Its customers in the automotive industry as well as in the mechanical engineering and plant construction industries greatly value the development competencies and high quality. The product range comprises both standardized products as well as custom-made packaging solutions. Production locations are in Germany, Poland and Spain. With some 450 employees the company is the leader of automotive wooden packaging in Europe.<\/p>

The House of Fuerstenberg continues to be involved as landlord of the Huefinger real estate as well as owner of F\u00fcrstenberg \u2013 THP GmbH, the business unit Infrastructure (comprising products such as railway sleepers, telegraph poles, electricity poles, noise deflection walls).<\/p>

Industrial European Wood Products Holding is a company of the Flacks Group. Flacks Group specializes on the acquisition and development of small and mid-sized enterprises. In addition to providing expansion capital and management expertise, invested companies are repositioned in the market and, in close cooperation with customers and employees, set up for long term sustainable growth<\/p>
