Livingstone Partners is pleased to announce it has advised the family owners of <\/strong>Hans K\u00e4mmerer GmbH <\/strong><\/a>(\u201cHans K\u00e4mmerer\u201d or \u201cthe Company\u201d) on the sale of a majority shareholding in the company to <\/strong>Storskogen<\/strong><\/a> (NASDAQ: STOR-B). Livingstone acted as the exclusive financial advisor.<\/strong><\/p>

Storskogen has acquired a majority stake in Hans K\u00e4mmerer GmbH from Wachtendonk in North Rhine-Westphalia. Hans K\u00e4mmerer GmbH manufactures and repairs wear and spare parts and complete components, primarily for the steel industry and metal processing industries as well as the chemical and paper processing industries.<\/p>

The Company specializes in maintenance, joint, and build-up welding and surface coating utilizing arc and flame spraying against wear and corrosion and manufactures wear and spare parts as well as complete components for the steel, aluminum, copper, cement, and chemical industries as well as for the paper processing industry.<\/p>

Hans K\u00e4mmerer GmbH employs around 100 people on the Dutch border and generates around EUR 12M (USD 13M) in 2021.<\/p>

To secure future growth and development for the Wachtendonk location, the K\u00e4mmerer family decided to look for a structured succession solution at an early stage.<\/p>

\u201cFollowing today\u2019s 3rd generation, there will be no more potential successors from the following 4th generation. Our father, Hans K\u00e4mmerer, will leave the Company as a shareholder when Storskogen joins. We are pleased to have found a long-term new owner in Storskogen with whom we can continue our previous successful course. My brother Nicolas, Co-CEO and Commercial Director, and I will remain with a significant minority stake in Hans K\u00e4mmerer GmbH and continue managing the company. In the coming years, we will work with Storskogen to gradually expand our management team,\u201d<\/em> shared Johannes K\u00e4mmerer, Co-CEO and Technical Director of Hans K\u00e4mmerer<\/strong>.<\/p>

Lars Nottehed, Managing Director of Storskogen Germany<\/strong>, views Hans K\u00e4mmerer GmbH, with its skills in the field of maintenance, as an ideal addition to Storskogen\u2019s industrial activities in Germany and Europe.
