Livingstone has advised <\/strong>Hudikhus<\/strong><\/a>, a prefabricated wooden home manufacturer on a majority sale to <\/strong>Storskogen<\/strong><\/a>. Based on the company\u2019s leading position in the Swedish holiday-housing market, Livingstone has positioned the investment opportunity and led a structured auction process. The company reported sales of approximately SEK 125MM and an operating profit of approximately SEK 28MM for the financial year 2021.<\/strong><\/p>

Hudikhus<\/a> is a house manufacturer that designs and sells prefabricated wooden houses with focus on holiday homes and has its headquarters in Hudiksvall and sales offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The company consists of 25 employees mainly within design, product development and sales. Hudikhus was founded in 1961 and has been run and owned by Anders Eriksson and his family since 1980. Today, the company is run by the second generation of co-owners Malin Hagberg, CEO, and Tobias Sonerud, sales manager, who will remain as co-owners and continue to lead the company after the transaction.<\/p>

Storskogen<\/a> acquires and develops well-run and profitable small and medium-sized companies in the business areas Industry, Trade and Services in the Nordics, DACH and the UK.  As of September 30th, 2021,  Storskogen consisted of 94 business units with a total of approximately 7,000 employees and annual sales of more than SEK 19BN. Hudikhus will be a part of Storskogen\u2019s vertical producers, which is a part of the Trade business area.<\/p>

This consumer transaction follows the sale of Hafa Bathroom Group to BHG Group<\/a> and the sale of Loviseberg Presseri to SEB Private Equity<\/a>.<\/p>

Livingstone was the exclusive financial advisor and Setterwalls<\/a> was the legal advisor to Hudikhus<\/a> throughout the sales
