El equipo de Healthcare de Livingstone ha asesorado a Althia Health, S.L. en el proceso de desinversi\u00f3n y ampliaci\u00f3n de capital de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda y la entrada de dos co-inversores: el fondo de capital riesgo Inveready, y de Reiman Inversiones, S.L. Los t\u00e9rminos de la operaci\u00f3n no se han hecho p\u00fablicos.<\/strong><\/p>

Creada en 2007 por el Dr. Carlos Cord\u00f3n-Card\u00f3 as\u00ed como por un grupo de m\u00e9dicos y cient\u00edficos, Althia se ha convertido en una empresa dirigida y respaldada por un equipo m\u00e9dico de renombre mundial, con laboratorios de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n especializados en la realizaci\u00f3n de tests personalizados predictivos para pacientes con c\u00e1ncer y centrada en la introducci\u00f3n de un innovador sistema de radioterapia altamente sofisticado para patolog\u00edas oncol\u00f3gicas. Inveready es uno de los principales grupos de inversi\u00f3n de capital riesgo enfocado en fases iniciales en Espa\u00f1a. Su estrategia de inversi\u00f3n se centra principalmente en inversiones en empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas con alto potencial de crecimiento y modelos de negocio innovadores. Por su parte Reiman es un Family Office con conocimientos en el sector m\u00e9dico que invierte en nichos de negocio con capacidad de crecimiento.<\/p>

Despu\u00e9s de varios a\u00f1os en una fase de desarrollo inicial, el equipo directivo de Althia decidi\u00f3 dar un paso adelante y contrat\u00f3 a Livingstone para negociar la salida de los peque\u00f1os inversores que apoyaron la fase inicial e identificar a nuevos socios financieros que apoyaran las nuevas necesidades de desarrollo de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda, todo ello en un momento de inminente lanzamiento de nuevos tratamientos de radioterapia.<\/p>
