L’\u00e9quipe Biens de consommation de Livingstone a le plaisir d’annoncer que <\/strong>Goose Island Beer Co.<\/strong><\/a> a accept\u00e9 d’\u00eatre acquise par <\/strong>Anheuser-Busch InBev dans le cadre d’une<\/strong><\/a> transaction \u00e9valu\u00e9e \u00e0 38,8 millions de dollars en num\u00e9raire, assortie de contreparties suppl\u00e9mentaires. L’\u00e9quipe de Livingstone \u00e0 Chicago a agi en tant que conseil financier exclusif de Goose Island.<\/strong><\/p>

Anheuser-Busch a conclu un accord pour acqu\u00e9rir une participation de 58 % aupr\u00e8s des fondateurs et d’autres investisseurs de Goose Island pour un montant de 22,5 millions de dollars. Le groupe a \u00e9galement conclu un accord de principe pour le rachat d’une participation de 42 % d\u00e9tenue par Craft Brewers Alliance Inc pour 16,3 millions de dollars en num\u00e9raire, plus un compl\u00e9ment de prix. Bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Chicago, Goose Island est l’une des brasseries artisanales les plus respect\u00e9es et en plus forte croissance du pays, avec des ventes concentr\u00e9es dans l’ensemble du Midwest. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a vendu environ 127 000 barils de Honkers Ale, 312 Urban Wheat Ale, Matilda et d’autres marques en 2010. Cette transaction apportera des capitaux suppl\u00e9mentaires aux activit\u00e9s de Goose Island afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande croissante des consommateurs pour ses marques et de renforcer sa distribution \u00e0 Chicago et dans le Midwest.<\/p>
