UK Specialist Lending sector racks up £3bn of M&A activity in just five months

The UK specialist lending market had a very positive start to 2017, with businesses securing good credit quality and growth strategies as a result of the continuing favourable economic conditions.

Livingstone’s latest research into the specialist lending market, which featured recently in Mortgage Finance Gazette, found that the market extended its post-referendum recovery this year, reaching over £3bn of M&A activity between January and May, continuing the trend of investor confidence seen in in the second half of 2016.
