Strong finish, strong year for M&A
2015 marked another strong year for middle market M&A. While deal volumes and average transaction size overall were down slightly from 2014, the market remained very active compared to historical levels. So, what’s around the corner in 2016? We believe it will be more of the same—highly acquisitive strategic and financial buyers and strong valuations for performing companies. The wild card for this year is the financing market.
