Livingstone advised the DBAG Expansion Capital Fund (<\/strong>DBAG ECF<\/strong><\/a>) on the acquisition of Leinberger Bau GmbH, a full-service provider for utility and communications networks.<\/strong><\/p>

B\u00fcdingen, with an additional branch in Brachtal. With approximately 200 employees, the group offers a full range of services in pipeline construction, civil engineering, and related roadworks, utilizing state-of-the-art installation methods and a comprehensive fleet of vehicles and machinery. Its customer base includes telecom providers, energy utilities, municipalities, commercial enterprises, construction companies, and private clients.<\/p>

In the telecommunications and carrier segment, its service portfolio includes the construction, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic networks, duct systems, and cable infrastructures. From conventional laying techniques to horizontal directional drilling and ploughing, Leinberger covers the entire value chain in network construction. As a full-service provider, the company delivers turnkey solutions for its clients\u2014from planning and installation to documentation. In 2019, the company generated revenues exceeding EUR 20 million.<\/p>

The demand for high-performance internet connectivity\u2014and therefore for fiber optic networks\u2014is growing steadily. Yet in Germany, only seven percent of all households are currently connected to fiber networks, compared to an EU average that is three times higher. Over the past years, DBAG has made a significant contribution to the expansion of fiber infrastructure in Germany through investments in various companies in this sector.<\/p>
