Livingstone is pleased to announce the firm\u2019s Benelux team has acted as M&A advisor of the Adriaanse family on the acquisition of Edelman by EDCO. Transaction terms were not disclosed.<\/strong><\/p>

Livingstone has advised the Adriaanse family on the acquisition of Edelman by EDCO. In August 2021 Gilde Buy Out Partners acquired a majority shareholding in EDCO while the Adriaanse family continued as substantial minority shareholder. Livingstone also acted as advisor to the Adriaanse family in this transaction.<\/p>

Edelman is a distributor of distinctive and proprietary brands consisting of a broad range of home and garden decorative products to a wide variety of retailers primarily in Europe. Amongst others seasonal collections, Edelman is well known for their extensive Christmas collection.<\/p>

The partnership between EDCO and Edelman enables both companies to take advantage of multiple strategic product and distribution white spots and helps to accelerate growth to an unparalleled international market leader.<\/p>

EDCO is a fast-growing and European leading distributor of branded and private label non-food FMCG products. Over the last years, EDCO has transformed from a trading business to a value-added multicategory distributor with a significantly increased focus on brands and retail concepts.<\/p>
