Livingstone\u2019s Industrial sector team has advised the owners of <\/strong>Albin Components<\/strong><\/a> on its sale to <\/strong>Storskogen<\/strong><\/a>. Considering the company\u2019s impressive market position and long client relations with well-known global clients in heavy trucks, Livingstone positioned the investment opportunity and managed a structured sales process.<\/strong><\/p>

Storskogen acquires a majority of the shares in Albin Components AB and the management team remains as minority owners. The transaction facilitates continued growth and development of the business under the long-term ownership of Storskogen.<\/p>

Albin Components is a manufacturer of gears and gear components for well-known and demanding global clients in the heavy vehicle industry. The company was founded more than 100 years ago in Kristinehamn, Sweden, where its top modern manufacturing facilities still are active.<\/p>

Storskogen is a Swedish privately owned company group that acquires and develops small and medium-sized companies, primarily in Sweden. Storskogen has a diversified portfolio of 33 independent companies with a combined turnover of just over SEK 5 billion.<\/p>

The completion of this transaction reinforces Livingstone\u2019s credentials in the industrial components space following on from Meggitt\u2019s sale of Precision Micro to LDC<\/a>, the sale of Smiths Group\u2019s bearings business to Miba<\/a>, and the sale of Gerdins to B&B Tools<\/a>.<\/p>

Livingstone was the exclusive financial adviser to Albin Components during the sales
