Full-service beverage alcohol company uncorks new potential

Livingstone’s Consumer team is pleased to announce the sale of certain assets for Florida Distillers (or the “Company”) to an undisclosed buyer. The deal closed in July 2024, and the terms were not disclosed.

Florida Distillers is a leading full-service distilled spirit and wine beverage company with a portfolio of award-winning brands and the first registered distillery in Florida in 1943.

The Company manages a diverse portfolio of proprietary alcohol brands, including the popular Capriccio Sangria, Deauville (cordials), Ron Carlos (Caribbean rum; US-only) and Mad Dragon (wine-based flavored RTDs; US only). In addition, the Company operates a strategically located distillery that specializes in producing bulk alcohol, including being a leading supplier of OTSOW (other than standard orange wine).

This transaction is another success for Livingstone’s beverage alcohol practice, and second in as many months following the MHW / Blue Sage Capital transaction.
