Livingstone has acted as advisor to\u00a0<\/strong>Mellby G\u00e5rd<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in the sale of\u00a0<\/strong>Hedson Technologies International AB<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(“Hedson Technologies”) to\u00a0<\/strong>Storskogen<\/strong><\/a>. Based on the company’s market-leading position in high-quality systems for curing, lifting and cleaning, Livingstone has positioned the investment opportunity and driven a structured sales process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hedson Technologies<\/a>\u00a0is headquartered in Arl\u00f6v, Sweden and today consists of the brands IRT, Drester, Herkules and Trisk. The group was founded in 1999 and has since established a market-leading position as a supplier of high-quality systems for curing, lifting and cleaning to car repair shops and industrial companies all over the world.\u00a0Hedson Technologies<\/a>\u00a0reported sales of SEK 256 million and EBITA of SEK 35 million for the financial year 2021.<\/p>\n

The transaction means that\u00a0Storskogen<\/a>\u00a0acquires all shares in\u00a0Hedson Technologies<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Mellby G\u00e5rd<\/a>. After the transaction, the company will become part of\u00a0Storskogen’s<\/a>\u00a0Industry business area and the current management team will remain at their positions even after the transaction.<\/p>\n

Storskogen<\/a>\u00a0is a listed company that acquires and develops well-managed and profitable small and medium-sized companies in the business areas Industry, Trade and Services in the Nordic region, DACH and the UK. As of December 31, 2021,\u00a0Storskogen<\/a>\u00a0consisted of 105 business units with a total of approximately 9,000 employees and annual sales of over SEK 23 billion.<\/p>\n

Livingstone’s team thus completes another transaction in the industrial sector, following, among other things,\u00a0the sale of ProvideU to Novedo<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the sale of Beneli to Volati<\/a>.<\/p>\n
