Mark Birkett speaks to Alt Credit Fund Intelligence

Mark Birkett spoke with reporter James Harvey at Alt Credit Fund Intelligence about the current state of the debt capital markets, Covid-19 and its near-term impact on middle-market financing.

When asked about potential trading opportunities, Mark responded, “Managers who have the flexibility to invest in both syndicated and bespoke markets are increasingly looking to secondary opportunities in the syndicated loan market, both as a relative value trade and for liquidity. We expect there to be a shift towards the secondary market in the coming weeks as new opportunities are harder to find.”
