Livingstone acted as financial advisor to the minority shareholders of SAIB S.p.A. (\u201cSAIB\u201d, now EGGER Italia S.p.A.), one of Italy\u2019s leading manufacturers of recycled wood-based panels, supporting them throughout the valuation and sale process of their stake to <\/strong>EGGER<\/strong><\/a>, an Austrian industrial group and one of the leading international players in the wood-based products sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transaction forms part of the journey that began in 2022, when Livingstone advised the shareholders of SAIB on the strategic cross-border combination with EGGER, aimed at supporting the company\u2019s future development and further strengthening its industrial and competitive positioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the new mandate, Livingstone supported the minority shareholders in defining the value realization path for their respective stakes, taking into account the evolution of the company and the relationship developed over recent years with the new industrial shareholder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Livingstone also supported its clients through financial analyses underpinning the negotiation process and in defining differentiated solutions capable of addressing their respective needs, while conducting negotiations with EGGER in parallel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process concluded with the execution of agreements for the sale of the stakes held by the minority shareholders, representing a further step in the journey that began with EGGER\u2019s investment in SAIB and ensuring continuity in the company\u2019s development within the Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
