Swedish group AddLife<\/a> AB (AddLife), listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, has acquired Unicam Sistemas Anal\u00edticos<\/a>, Lda. (Unicam), a leading Portuguese distributor of high-end scientific instrumentation and laboratory analysis systems. The transaction, which closed on September 8, 2026, brings Unicam into AddLife\u2019s Labtech business area and strengthens the group\u2019s position in advanced laboratory technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headquartered in the Lisbon area (Alg\u00e9s, Oeiras) and operating since 1991, Unicam is a leading Portuguese distributor of advanced analytical laboratory equipment, offering instruments, consumables, technical support, service, and training in chromatography, spectrometry, and microwave technology. The company generates annual revenue of over \u20ac10 million, employs a team of 20, and serves universities, research institutions, and industrial customers across Portugal, supported by a strong market reputation for quality and service and long-standing customer relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AddLife is an independent European Life Science group offering high-quality products, services, and advice to both the public and private sectors. It has around 2,300 employees across some 85 operating subsidiaries and net sales exceeding SEK 10 billion, and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. With the acquisition of Unicam, AddLife expands its presence in Portugal within its Labtech area; in line with the group\u2019s decentralized management model, Unicam will continue to operate under its own brand and with a high degree of operational independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
