Livingstone\u2019s industrial team has advised <\/strong>Clustag<\/strong><\/a>, a leading provider of RFID solutions for complex logistics environments, on its sale to <\/strong>Nazca Capital<\/strong><\/a>, a private equity firm specializing in investments in unlisted Spanish SMEs. Through its Nazca Small Cap II fund, Nazca has acquired a majority stake in Clustag with the aim of driving the company’s international expansion and consolidating its position as a global leader in RFID technology.<\/strong><\/p>

Founded in 2015 in Valencia, Clustag develops advanced radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions designed to optimize efficiency in highly complex intralogistics environments. Its proprietary design and technology teams offer the highest accuracy, reliability, and reading speed on the market, enabling companies to reduce costs, improve supply chain control, and achieve full traceability in real time.<\/p>

With a presence in more than 25 countries and subsidiaries in the United States and Mexico, Clustag expects to exceed \u20ac18 million in turnover in 2025, maintaining the double-digit growth recorded in recent years. More than 50% of its sales come from international markets and its customer portfolio includes leading operators in sectors such as fashion, retail, health, cosmetics, and logistics automation.<\/p>

Nazca Capital, with more than 25 years of experience, specializes in the acquisition and development of Spanish SMEs that are leaders in their sectors. The investment in Clustag is the fourth transaction of its Nazca Small Cap II fund, which also includes holdings in Global Factor, a leader in sustainability and environmental markets; Coycama and Becrisa, a leading group in the bathroom sector; and Laberit, a leading company in digital transformation.<\/p>

The transaction also involves the departure of SML Intelligent Inventory Solutions, a supplier of RFID tags, meaning that the company is now wholly owned by Nazca and its founder, Luis Rius, who will continue to lead the project as CEO.<\/p>
