WESSLING Consulting Engineering GmbH & Co. KG (WCE)<\/strong><\/a>, headquartered in Altenberge, Germany, ranks among Germany\u2019s largest independent environmental engineering service providers for building contaminants and geology. <\/strong><\/p>

In response to rising demand for comprehensive HSE solutions, WCE has recently broadened its offering to include technical and energy consulting services. IFUA Institut f\u00fcr Umweltanalyse Projektgesellschaft mbH (IFUA), based in Bielefeld, complements WCE with specialized geological and soil-protection services in the German market. Together, WCE and IFUA operate from ten locations across Germany and advise customers from the power generation, chemical and construction industry as well as from the public sector. WCE and IFUA formed part of the WESSLING Group, which was acquired by ALS mid-2024.<\/p>

As part of its commitment to core-business excellence, ALS has decided to divest its engineering and environmental consulting service business in Germany to sharpen operational focus. To support this divestiture, Livingstone was mandated as an exclusive M&A advisor to design and execute a structured sale process, targeting both international strategic acquirers and financial investors, while also identifying a buyer willing to continue the service relationship with ALS, ensuring that the ALS Environmental Division could secure its largest customer for environmental testing.<\/p>

Accordingly, negotiations have been held with potential buyers for the German engineering and environmental consulting service business. In AEM Unternehmerkapital<\/a>, a Munich based Family Office, an ideal buyer was found to further develop the companies in the long term.<\/p>

All employees and existing services were taken over by the buyer.<\/p>
