Livingstones Media & Teknik-team har agerat r\u00e5dgivare till Eat-the-World GmbH, pionj\u00e4r och marknadsledare inom food tours\u00a0i Tyskland, vid f\u00f6rs\u00e4ljningen till Gruner+Jahr GmbH & Co. KG, som f\u00f6rv\u00e4rvar samtliga aktier.\u00a0Transaktionen genomf\u00f6rdes i augusti 2017.<\/p>\n

Eat-the-World grundades 2008 av\u00a0Elke Freimuth och Katrin Buck som en typisk Berlin-startup-up. Bolaget har sedan dess v\u00e4xt stadigt och erbjuder idag food tours i 35 tyska st\u00e4der. Kunderna erbjuds kulinariska upplevelser genom guidade visningar av sm\u00e5, autentiska matdistrikt och noga utvalda matbutiker i st\u00e4derna. Fram till f\u00f6rs\u00e4ljningen \u00e4gdes och leddes bolaget av Freimuth och Buck.<\/p>\n

K\u00f6paren\u00a0Gruner+Jahr, en del av den internationella f\u00f6rlags- och mediekoncernen Bertelsmann AG, \u00e4r en producent av medieprodukter f\u00f6r det digitala samh\u00e4llet. Bolaget har fler \u00e4n 10 000 anst\u00e4llda och en oms\u00e4ttning om 1,58 miljarder euro.
