Dataforce comprises the contact centre, BPO and fulfilment activities within Twenty. The deal forms part of Twenty\u2019s strategy to focus solely on the data and digital marketing side of its business.<\/p>\n<p>Livingstone previously advised the individual shareholders of Dataforce on the sale of the company to Twenty in 2006, and were called in by the Board after they decided to divest the operation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cHaving dealt with Livingstone when they were advising the vendors on the original Dataforce deal, we knew they were the right advisers to help us pursue our strategy\u201d, <\/strong>says Ian Lancaster, Chief Executive of Twenty plc.<strong> \u201cLivingstone\u2019s knowledge of the contact centre space and their cross border expertise meant that they were able to facilitate a swift and attractive sale to HOV, whose headquarters are in Chennai.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThis deal has been encouraging, not just because we have been able to sell an attractive and profitable business, enabling Twenty to focus on its core data and digital marketing businesses, but because we were able to achieve a good price\u201d, <\/strong>says Tim Lyle, Partner at Livingstone.<strong> \u201cWe received a number of interesting offers for Dataforce mainly from overseas potential purchasers and were able to close the deal quickly \u2013 from being appointed in November 2009 to agreeing heads of terms in March of this year, and signing agreements in April\u201d <\/strong>adds Alex John, Deal Leader.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement of the deal was received positively by the stockmarket with Twenty\u2019s share price increasing 140% on the day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":2641,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"client-type":[],"region":[],"sector":[],"service":[],"transaction-type":[],"class_list":["post-17725","transaction","type-transaction","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":{"team_members":"","date":"20100520","client_type":null,"type":[1057],"region":[1224],"services":[469],"sectors":[488,898,913],"related_transactions":"","related_testimonials":"","contacts":""},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
