Joe began his career at Livingstone in 2010 when he was brought on to lead Livingstone\u2019s Special Situations practice. The firm\u2019s Special Situations practice assists clients in developing, evaluating, and executing M&A, refinancing, and debt restructuring transactions across various industries.<\/p>
Joe has 23+ years of financial advisory experience with extensive transaction expertise, including section 363 sales, UCC Article 9 sales, Federal receivership sales, assignments for the benefit of creditors, debt-for-equity swaps, and other negotiated balance sheet restructurings on behalf of his clients. Joe\u2019s clients have included well-known companies such as Gissing North America, Aztec Shaffer, Arro Foods, Maurice Sporting Goods, Cardiac Science, IPC International, Hartmarx Corporation, Tempel Steel Company, Robbins Bros. Corporation, Key Lime Cove Resort, Waterworks Holding Corp., American IronHorse Motorcycles, Inc., Budget Group, Inc., Kmart Corp., and UAL Corporation.<\/p>
Prior to Livingstone, Joe was one of three founding members of William Blair\u2019s Restructuring Group. He was also a Vice President with KPMG\u2019s Corporate Recovery practice. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.<\/p>
Joe is originally from Milwaukee and lives in Glencoe, IL, with his wife and children.<\/p>
