Systemair AB, a leading international ventilation company has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Menerga GmbH, one of Europe\u2019s leading manufacturers of air handling units.<\/p>
Livingstone D\u00fcsseldorf\u2019s Industrial Sector team advised Systemair on the acquisition. Systemair has operations in 44 countries in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Asia and South Africa.<\/p>
The Company had sales of SEK 4bn in FY12 and employs c. 3,400 people. Founded in 1974, the group\u2019s products are marketed under the Systemair, Frico, VEAB and Fantech brands and is listed on the Swedish NASDAQ OMX stock exchange. Menerga was established in 1981 and is one of the leading manufacturers of air handling units in Europe focusing mainly on the leisure sector. Located in M\u00fclheim an der Ruhr, Germany, the company employs c. 400 people, and had a turnover of \u20ac56.7m in FY12.<\/p>
