Livingstone is pleased to announce the sale of <\/strong>H.H. Franchising Systems, Inc. <\/strong><\/a>(\u201cHome Helpers\u201d or \u201cCompany\u201d) to Linsalata Capital Partners (\u201cLinsalata\u201d). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Home Helpers is one of the largest franchisors of in-home senior care in the U.S. and provides non-medical personal and companion care to over 600 communities across 42 states.<\/strong><\/p>

The Company boasts over 265 offices operating in 340 franchise territories. In addition to these non-medical services, Home Helpers offers Direct Link, a proprietary suite of medical alert solutions that provides an extra layer of safety when caregivers are not on-site.<\/p>

Partner <\/strong>Jim Moskal<\/strong><\/a>, head of Livingstone\u2019s Healthcare practice<\/strong>, commented \u201cThe strong interest we received in Home Helpers demonstrates the attractiveness of the non-medical segment of home health including robust demand driven by the aging U.S. population, minimal regulatory environment, and private pay dynamics that eliminate government reimbursement risk.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Home Helpers marks the third home health transaction for Livingstone in the last six months and its second home health transaction announced this calendar year. Last fall, Livingstone advised on the sale of Option 1 to Epic Health Services, followed by the $63M sale of Infinity HomeCare to Amedisys in January. Moskal added, \u201cWe anticipate home health M&A activity to remain strong in 2016 as industry dynamics and the scarcity of high-quality assets keep valuations high.\u201d
