Through this acquisition IMP and Norman Hay will form a global impregnation sealants champion. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Headquartered in Monheim am Rhein near D\u00fcsseldorf, IMP is not only a pioneer in and owner of patents within the process for sealing and impregnating of porous metal components (together with the company Ing. Hubert Maldaner GmbH (Maldaner), but also one of the leading global manufacturers of impregnation sealants and chemical additives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Norman Hay, headquartered in Coventry, UK, is a globally recognized leader in the manufacture of specialty industrial chemicals, sealants, surface coatings and process plants. Norman Hay operates in three main business areas: surface coatings with Surface Technology and SIFCO ASC; impregnation sealants equipment and services with UltrasealInternational, which also encompasses the Sterr &amp; Eder Group from Landshut, Germany and process plant and equipment with NHE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIMP\u2019s shareholding structure evolved over time, with the majority of its shareholders raising the question of future succession with regards to their investments. In light of this, we are pleased to now be part of the Norman Hay Group and together with Ultraseal form an international champion for impregnation sealants,\u201d <\/em>commented <strong>Georg Janssen, Managing Director of IMP<\/strong>. <em>\u201cCollaborating with Livingstone was essential for the successful execution of this transaction.
