As Managing Director, Rob leads Livingstone’s Essential Services practice, covering a range of commercial, industrial, and residential services. His clients typically: offer repeat/recurring installation, repair, and/or maintenance services; manage skilled, technical, and/or manual-labor human capital resources; and provide on-site/remote/in-field services, which are often route-based in nature.

Since beginning his IB career, Rob has completed over 30 M&A transactions. He has also gained valuable cross-functional experience working deals with Livingstone’s Debt Advisory and Special Situations practices.

Before his career in investment banking, Rob spent four years with Walbridge, a Detroit-based private general contractor and design-builder, where he focused on industrial, commercial, and heavy-civil projects. During his time with Walbridge, Rob was a member of the firm’s leadership development program and was promoted into roles of increasing responsibility, including project engineer, estimator, scheduler, and manager. His experience with Walbridge provides him with valuable insight into the day-to-day activities of his Essential Services clients.

Rob’s pre-Walbridge educational background at the University of Michigan comprised studies of Civil Engineering (BSE) and Construction Engineering & Management (ME), including cost estimating and project management. Completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with emphases in Finance & Accounting facilitated Rob’s career transition into investment banking.
