Joe Crotty joined Livingstone in 2025 as a Managing Director based in New York. Joe brings over 17 years of experience, having executed over 75 deals in the Agribusiness and Food sector, where he has emerged as one of the most active and trusted advisors. His transaction experience is particularly deep in Ag Inputs (e.g., feed, seed, crop / animal nutrition) and Ag Tech (e.g., farm management software / analytics, traceability / certification / verification, farm equipment technology). Crotty also has expertise in food production, processing, distribution, and retail.
At Livingstone, Joe will focus on M&A advisory and capital raising services across the global Agribusiness industry. His clients include private and public companies, multinational corporations, private equity firms, and venture capital investors.
Prior to Livingstone, Joe served as Managing Director at Consensus Advisors, where he led the Agribusiness and Food practice. Previously, he was the lead agriculture investment banker at KPMG. Joe began his career at AgriCapital, where he spent nearly 11 years honing his expertise in the agricultural sector.
Joe holds a B.S. in Finance and a minor in business law from Fordham University. Joe is FINRA Series 63, 79, and 82 certified. Originally from New York City, Joe now resides in the suburbs with his wife and their two sons.
