Livingstone acted as financial adviser to Million Monkeys on their €8.2m / $10.0m equity investment in TicketSwap.
TicketSwap operates a fast-growing live experiences platform for seamless buying and (re)selling of live event tickets. The platform is market leader or well established and fast growing in 35 countries, trusted by over 5 million users and hundreds of professional partners worldwide.
Million Monkeys is an Amsterdam-based VC investor with a track record in investing in fast-growing internet companies and extensive experience in scaling online marketplaces.
The investment will be used to accelerate growth by improving the platform’s value proposition and accelerating growth in new and existing markets by hiring additional staff, investing in the expansion of the partnership base, and increasing marketing and sales spend to optimally position the company for the return of live events across the globe.
The transaction was signed in June 2021.
