Accent Equity Partners will become part owner of the new Aviator Airport Alliance group which will include Sweden’s Nordic Aero and the two Norwegian firms of Røros Flyservice and Norport Ground Handling. Aviator Airport Alliance will generate sales of SEK 1 billion and have 1,250 employees.

The new corporation will offer a complete range of airport services from landing to takeoff, such as ticket handling, check-in, baggage handling and boarding. The three companies have operations at approximately 20 airports in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, and will continue to operate under their respective trademarks and share a few central functions under the Aviator Airport Alliance name.

‟This is a growing industry where airline companies increasingly look to outsource services,” said Niklas Sloutski, President of Accent Equity Partners. He went on by saying, ‟The foundations of all three of these companies have helped form strong individual units which can now experience even greater growth on a common platform. We are planning for strong growth both organically and from new markets and through acquisitions and expansion of services.”

Jan Brunstedt, President and owner of Nordic Aero comments, ‟I have been working for quite some time trying to consolidate the leading ground handling companies to be able to develop Nordic Aero in a highly competitive industry where clients expect high quality at a competitive price. This is why it is with great joy and enthusiasm that I look forward to our collaboration in the Aviator Airport Alliance and to be able to be a part of its exciting future growth and development.”

‟It is extremely satisfying that Livingstone has been able to contribute to this industrially logical and exciting consolidation of aircraft service entities,‟ said Thomas Karlsson, President at Livingstone. ‟A simultaneous acquisition of three companies in two countries is unusual and we are impressed by the common vision and willingness to cooperate which has evolved during this process.”
