Evidia expands its presence in northern Germany with Förde-Radiologicum
Livingstone has advised Evidia, a merger of Meine Radiologie Holding and blikk Holding, on the acquisition of the Förde-Radiologicum in Kiel. The leading radiology, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy Evidia Group, with locations in Germany, Norway, Sweden, and England is thus strengthening its presence with four new sites in northern Germany.
Since the start of April, the Förde-Radiologicum, the leading radiology practice group in Kiel and the surrounding area with ten radiology and nuclear medicine specialists and approximately 40 employees, has been part of the Evidia Group. Evidia is active throughout Europe and is now represented at 89 locations in Germany with more than 1,800 employees. Förde-Radiologicum’s range of services includes MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, and nuclear medicine, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal diagnostics, including CT-guided, minimally invasive pain therapy and MR arthrography. In addition, the practice has four hospital collaborations.
“With Evidia, we are pleased to have a strong partner to support us in quality assurance and growth investments. We have already jointly initiated a first project to replace a CT unit,” says Dr. Oliver Lehmberg, medical director.
Alexander Jenner, a member of the Evidia management, adds: “With the team around Dr. Schubert, Dr. Lehmberg, and Dr. Groth, another patient-oriented as well as high-performance practice joins our group. We welcome all new employees and look forward to a successful alliance.”
Christian Grandin, Partner of Livingstone Partners in Düsseldorf, comments: “We are pleased to have been able to contribute our in-depth advisory expertise in the medical care center environment and thus support Evidia on its strong growth path in northern Germany.”
