Grass is Greener for Beary Landscaping with New Growth Partner

Livingstone closes out 2023 with another successful Essential Services transaction

Livingstone’s Business Services team is pleased to announce that Beary Landscaping (“Beary” or the “Company”) has been sold to Silver Oak Services Partners (“Silver Oak”). Deal terms were not disclosed.

Beary is a leading commercial landscaping and snow & ice removal services provider offering recurring, contracted landscape management programs to commercial properties, utilities, multi-family communities, retail centers, schools and university campuses, and government facilities. In addition, Beary provides landscaping design and installation services to commercial and retail customers. Over its nearly 40-year history, Beary has become a premier landscaping services provider with six locations throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area and adjacent geographies in Illinois and Indiana.

Livingstone conducted a comprehensive sale process, generating significant buyer interest for the asset. “This successful acquisition represents a milestone in our journey and is a testament to Livingstone’s hard work. By joining forces with Silver Oak, we’re now well-positioned to pursue new growth opportunities and accelerate the Company’s development as a premier platform in the landscaping industry,” noted Brian Beary, President of Beary.

This sale of Beary represents another successful Business Services transaction, Livingstone’s 54th since 2020, following advisory mandates for the sale of Kimco Facility Services, Terra Staffing Group’s acquisition of ASG Staffing, and the sale of KGPCo.
