Livingstone advises Modigo when Broviken becomes new majority owner
Modigo was founded in 2014, with the ambition to build a high-quality healthcare company in psychiatry and psychology. The company has grown organically at a rapid pace and is today Sweden’s largest player in neuropsychiatric investigations. Modigo has seven clinics in Sweden from Lund in the south to Sundsvall in the north. The company has about 55 employees who are mainly psychologists, specialist doctors in psychiatry and nurses. In addition, Modigo employs some 70 psychologists and doctors on a consultancy basis.
“Through its clear focus on delivering high-quality services, Modigo has created a position as a leading national player in neuropsychiatric investigations. In Broviken, Modigo gets a new principal owner who, through his experience in the industry, can support the company in its continued development and thereby contribute to more people with ADHD, autism, and other neuropsychiatric problems getting the care they need, says Henrik Lilliehöök, Associate at Livingstone.
Broviken is a privately owned group of companies that invests in Nordic companies in the service sector, driven by strong entrepreneurs and management teams. Broviken manages SEK 1.4 billion and has made 15 investments since its inception in 2018. The company invests long-term in sustainable and profitable companies with growth potential and with a turnover of approximately SEK 50–500 million.
Livingstone acted as exclusive financial advisor and Kanter acted as legal advisor to Modigo in the sale process.
