Livingstone has advised Aurelius on the sale of their portfolio company Nedis to Commaxx
Livingstone is pleased to announce the firm’s Benelux team has acted as M&A advisor on the sale of Nedis (portfolio company of Aurelius) to Commaxx. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
Nedis, a wholesaler specialised in the distribution of (smart) consumer electronics and accessories, joins Commaxx Group, a wholesaler of a broad variety of consumer related electronics.
Nedis is an established player with a broad product offering that is aligned with the latest technologies and trends. Their proprietary “Nedis” branded and private label solutions provide valuable A-brand alternatives for their resellers and end-user customer base throughout Europe.
Commaxx Group develops and distributes a variety of (proprietary) branded consumer electronics mainly to international retailers and importers.
Nedis seamlessly fits into Commaxx’s organisation and brand portfolio. By joining forces, the companies benefit from a larger customer base, a wider product range, and potential synergies. In addition, ongoing challenges such as globalisation and the increasing costs in the consumer electronics market can be addressed more effectively.
The transaction was signed in February 2024.
“This step is a strategic choice to realize synergy between Commaxx and Nedis. Our goal is to tackle the current challenges in the consumer electronics market, with a focus on globalization and rising costs. By working together, we can invest more efficiently and combine the strengths of both companies to develop the best products”, said Bart Peels, owner of Commaxx.
WE ARE Unrelenting Advocates
