Livingstone has advised Kees de Boekhouder on the new partnership with Vortex Capital
Livingstone is pleased to announce the firm’s Benelux team has acted as M&A advisor on the new partnership of Kees de Boekhouder with Vortex Capital. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
Kees de Boekhouder, the largest bookkeeper for self-employed individuals and small businesses in the Netherlands, enters into a partnership with investment company Vortex Capital Partners. With the investment Kees de Boekhouder will be able to further expand its frontrunner position into becoming the national go-to brand for entrepreneurs.
Kees de Boekhouder, founded in 2009 by Kees Monteban and Marlou ter Berg, offers a standard all-in-one solution for self-employed individuals and small businesses, comprising a combination of an in-house developed software platform and personal service by a dedicated bookkeeper. The Company experienced strong organic growth over the past few years and currently serves over 6,500 customers.
Kees de Boekhouder unburdens self-employed individuals and small businesses by providing personal guidance and support through an innovative, proprietary platform. This makes the organization one of the few parties that has control over the entire bookkeeping process, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
Vortex Capital Partners is a specialized investment company that focuses on software, internet, and tech-driven companies. The investment fund focuses on small and medium-sized, Benelux-based companies with a high growth potential. Over the past 10 years, Vortex has made over 20 platform investments with over 25 follow-on investments.
