Livingstone has advised the owners of LL:s Kylteknik on its sale to the newly established Nordic Climate Group – a company created together with Capillar Equity. With 19 other refrigeration technology companies, LL:s Kylteknik is now part of Sweden’s leading group for technical energy solutions.
Founded in 1979, LL:s Kylteknik performs installations and services of cold storage and air conditioning facilities. The company originates from Kristianstad and is mainly active in Skåne and Blekinge. The company currently has 25 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 80 million. LL:s Kylteknik will maintain its brand, and the owners will remain in their operational roles post-transaction.
Nordic Climate Group creates a robust and prominent player in the HVAC market in Sweden. Nordic Climate Group consists of 20 refrigeration technology companies and 12 franchisees, the latter from TESAB, which will also be part of the newly established group. Together, the group will have a turnover of SEK 1.3 billion (157m USD) and approximately 500 employees. Capillar holds just over 50% of the shares in Nordic Climate Group. However, the current owners of the local companies will retain significant ownership of the group.
