Jim Moskal om förändrade förutsättningar för den amerikanska privata vårdsektorn
Federal government policies are now pushing health care providers away from fee-for-service reimbursement toward a new model that rewards higher-quality care at a lower cost, a new paradigm healthcare experts applaud. For the industry, however, the shift is challenging. In an article for Healthcare Business Today, Jim Moskal, partner and head of Livingstone’s Healthcare practice, explores the history behind the industry’s shift to value-based care and bundled payments. Jim surveys the current landscape and explains the moving parts that make up the shift – including accountable care organizations (ACOs), bundled and alternative payments and finally, capitation before sharing which model he believes will prove successful in providing higher-quality care at a lower cost in America.
