Metallåtervinnaren Metal & Waste Recycling förvärvas av Recycling Lives

Livingstone has advised European Metal Recycling, a global leader in metal recycling, on the sale of Metal & Waste Recycling, a leading specialty scrap recycler, to Recycling Lives. As part of the transaction, the London-based sites of Metal & Waste Recycling will be retained by European Metal Recycling.

Established in 1970, Metal & Waste Recycling is a nationwide metal recycler with depots in the South East, Midlands, and the North East. The group specializes in the recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from automotive, demolition, military and engineering businesses as well as metal merchants.

The disposal comes following an intervention by the Competition & Markets Authority when Metal & Waste Recycling was first acquired by European Metal Recycling in 2017.
