vitronet Group has acquired Meyer Strassenbau Group
Livingstone has advised vitronet GmbH (“vitronet” or “The Company”), a portfolio company of the funds advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), on the acquisition of Meyer Strassenbau Group, a regional specialist in civil engineering and road construction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Groß Twülpstedt (Lower Saxony), Meyer Strassenbau Group is a leader in infrastructure development, with expertise in civil engineering and road construction and building material recycling ensure efficient and smooth implementation of regional infrastructure projects.
The acquisition of Meyer Stranssenbau Group expands vitronet’s geographic coverage in the Lower Saxony region. With the takeover, vitronet Group strengthens and optimizes its existing service portfolio along the value chain and is now one of the most important industry players in nationwide infrastructure expansion with over 2,350 employees at 25 locations throughout Germany.

Fiber optic expansion has developed into a major growth driver in the Meyer Strassenbau Group in recent years,” explained Marc Lützenkirchen, CEO of vitronet Group.
