The latest data from the Office of National Statistics has revealed that 75 UK companies worth a combined total of £21.7bn were sold to overseas owners in the first quarter, suggesting that foreign buyers are still eager to push money into the UK.

In light of this, Jeremy Furniss, Partner at Livingstone, spoke with City AM about how UK M&A has remained incredibly robust despite political uncertainty such as Brexit. This is a positive result for the UK, he concludes.
