Livingstone acted as exclusive financial advisor to the owners of Sunaru AB (“Sunaru”) on the sale to Craftor AB (“Craftor”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Eleda. The transaction marks the next step in Sunaru’s successful growth journey and provides the company with additional strength to continue its development, while also strengthening Craftor’s market position and capabilities within its strategic segments.
Founded in 1998 with a focus on power distribution, Sunaru is today a leading civil engineering contractor in the Greater Stockholm area, specializing in electrical and water infrastructure. With extensive experience and strong technical expertise, the company has built a solid market position and a well-regarded brand. In recent years, the company has demonstrated stable and profitable growth and is now one of the foremost players in the Swedish market, with revenues of approximately SEK 250 million.
The merger between Sunaru and Craftor is a natural continuation of their long and successful collaboration. By combining resources, expertise, and capacity, the partners will be able to deliver even greater value to their customers and continue their joint expansion.
“Sunaru and Craftor complement each other well, and have built a strong collaboration over many years. Together, we will become a very strong player in the Nordic market. When we were evaluating a new ownership structure, we chose to engage Livingstone as financial advisor given their long experience and deep understanding of our needs. Through a structured process, Livingstone presented us with several alternatives, and the final choice fell on Craftor. I would like to thank Livingstone for reliably guiding us through this ownership transition.” – Stefan Kärrström, CEO of Sunaru
