Livingstone acted as exclusive buy-side advisor on the acquisition of Louwman Group’s Care division, Welzorg

Livingstone is pleased to announce the firm’s Benelux team has acted as M&A advisor on the acquisition of Louwman Group’s Care division, Welzorg. Transaction terms were not disclosed.

Welzorg is a Dutch specialist in providing mobility and accessibility solutions, offering wheelchairs, scooters, adapted bikes, home modifications, and vehicle adaptations. They support municipalities, insurers, care institutions, and individuals by supplying, maintaining, and servicing assistive medical devices. Welzorg focuses on improving independence and daily mobility for people with physical limitations.Welzorg is a specialist in providing mobility aids, home adaptations, and vehicle modifications to individuals with physical limitations across five units in the Netherlands.

AURELIUS is a global alternative investment firm that focuses on private equity, private debt, and real estate. Founded in 2005, it specialises in complex, transformational situations — such as corporate carve-outs, succession transitions, and distressed or underperforming businesses — by applying an operationally driven approach to value creation.

Through its internal operations advisory team (WaterRise), Aurelius helps its portfolio companies improve performance, streamline processes, and scale sustainably.

AURELIUS is acquiring a nationwide platform with resilient fundamentals and plans to strengthen procurement, optimise the operating model, and broaden the range of services. Its WaterRise operations team will support the carve-out, with a focus on business continuity and IT separation.

The transaction was signed in November 2025.
