Half Year Report 2026 – Livingstone Continues its Growth Story

We look back on the first six months of the year at Livingstone – the business’s performance, the team’s growth, and the outlook that will shape the path to 2027.

Livingstone completed 30+ transactions during the first half of 2026, demonstrating continued momentum despite a complex global M&A and financing landscape. The firm remains one of the most active, independent, and globally integrated M&A and debt advisors serving the middle market. Despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty and sector-specific headwinds, the firm’s diversified platform continued to deliver consistent client outcomes across industries and geographies.

The first half of the year also reflected Livingstone’s continued investment in its platform through targeted senior hires and promotions, further strengthening sector expertise and expanding global capabilities. These investments underscore the firm’s long-term commitment to building a premier advisory business and delivering specialized expertise to clients.

Team Events & Growth Story

Collaboration is at the heart of how Livingstone works. Colleagues across our 14 global offices routinely join forces on client engagements, bringing the best expertise to each assignment regardless of geography. We invest deliberately in the relationships that make this possible, building the trust and familiarity that allow us to operate as one integrated firm. Regular international team events strengthen these connections and reinforce a culture where our people belong to one firm, not just one office.

  • Chicago: In June, Livingstone Chicago relocated its office to 311 West Huron in the River North neighborhood. Purposely designed to support the firm’s continued growth and enhance collaboration with clients and colleagues, the new headquarters reflect Livingstone’s longstanding commitment to Chicago and its investment in the future of its platform.

More than 120 representatives from across the citrus value chain attended, with five round tables covering consumer trends, international trade, misinformation around orange juice, financing and the sector’s economic-financial outlook, and its future prospects — a highly productive day for all attendees.
  • Ski Trip, Schruns (Montafon), Austria: 60 enthusiatic skiers and snowboarders took to the slopes for a high-energy team building experience.

Outlook 2026/2027

Transaction activity has remained consistently strong throughout 2026, supported by healthy M&A pipelines across industries and service lines. This breadth of activity provides strong visibility for the remainder of the year and positions Livingstone to carry meaningful momentum into 2027.

Livingstone continues to expand its global footprint and is proud to announce that its 15th office will soon open in a new European country. Stay tuned for the next chapter in Livingstone’s dynamic international expansion.
